MSC Members Needed for 2023 Horse Shows

We are just in the beginning stages of planning for our 2021 horse show season and need all MSC members to pitch in and help.
Here are the jobs:
Registration: take registrations, check coggins, take money, etc. Requires at least 3 people at the beginning of the day (it’s really busy then) but one person can easily handle it in the PM and still have plenty of time to watch the show.
Food Stand: work in food stand. Takes at least 2 people in AM and 2 people in PM. The more the merrier. You can trade off then. The Show Committee takes on the task of deciding the menu and getting the food, just need folks to make and sell it day of the show.
Ring Steward: assist the judge, give instructions to entrants, etc. Needed during WSCA show.
Bars: need many folks to bring a pan of bars or brownies, UNCUT please, to each show. If 1/3 of the membership supplies this for each show, we're in great shape. If you don't like to cook, store bought is fine.
Gates: opening the gates to let horses and riders in or out, closing gates behind them. Young children (under 13 or so) are not suitable for this task. Need 2 folks at all times.
Arena Help: rake, set up jumps and barrels, etc. Need 2 people at all times during WSCA, 3 people at all times during NBHA.
Stand Help: someone to sit in a chair at the bottom of the announcer stand, answer questions, check entries if required, give out the paybacks - - in general, keep entrants off the announcer stand and answer their questions, help them.
High Point: enter names and finishes to determine high point awards. This person also fills out the sheets for UHA and WSCA.
Paybacks: keep track of payback amounts for all 1st through 4th place finishes throughout the day
Back up Timer: needed for speed events in case the electric timer doesn’t work.
4 – in – line – timers: this job takes about 20 - 30 minutes. Time this one event. 2 people during the WSCA show.
Clean Up/Stalls: clean up stalls, help put away all equipment, clean up grounds, turn off lights, lock stuff up, etc. Need as many as possible on all show days, we are required to clean the entire fairgrounds of manure, straw and garbage, including cleaning all the stalls. This occurs after each show and can take an hour or two depending on how much help we have.
During each show, we periodically have a need to "call for help" from our membership over the loudspeaker. Please, if you are on the grounds and hear this announcement, come to the stand.
